Free will donations accepted but not required.
At a folk jam, we sit in a circle and take turns leading a song, while others play along. This is just for fun, not for performance, although people are welcome to listen. The folk music genre is pretty open and can include traditional, old time, Celtic, World, fiddle tunes, popular, Gospel, bluegrass, and even a little country. We just ask that you sing songs that are fairly simple and easy to follow and stick to the keys of C, G, D, or A. Acoustic instruments only.
There is plenty of room for people to just sit and listen or play along in the background. All are welcome.
